Cycling Jacket

A cycling jacket can make riding in the cold much more comfortable. They are available in varying degrees of insulation to accommodate a variety of riding situations. Depending on the characteristics of a particular jacket, they can often be rather expensive.

A quality cycling jacket will have a few defining characteristics. First, a good jacket will have a minimum of volume while maintaining as much insulation as possible. Secondly they will provide a high degree of freedom of movement.

Not every cycling jacket is designed for cold weather. In some cases they’re designed as more of a wind breaker. These jackets are ultra-lightweight and designed to be easily stored away when not needed.
